1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Campus Bite services, including our Website (https://campusbite.com.pk) and our three mobile applications (the User App, the Store App, and the Delivery Man App). By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use our services, or otherwise have legal parental/guardian consent.
2. Account Registration: You may be required to create an account by providing valid information (e.g., name, email, phone number) and setting a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. User Responsibilities

1. Accurate Information: Ensure all information you provide is current, accurate, and complete.
2. Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms when using our services.
3. Prohibited Conduct: Do not misuse our services or engage in fraudulent, harmful, or illegal activities, including but not limited to unauthorized data extraction, spamming, hacking, or violating others’ rights.

4. Orders and Transactions

1. Restaurant and Store Listings: Campus Bite displays offerings from third-party restaurants and stores. We do not own or directly operate any of these entities.
2. Order Placement: When placing an order through the User App or Website, it is your responsibility to review the details (e.g., items, price, location).
3. Delivery: Our Delivery Man App facilitates the logistics of getting your order from the store/restaurant to your location. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.
4. Payment: Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors, and you agree to their terms.
5. Refunds and Cancellations: Subject to our or each store’s/restaurant’s specific policies.

5. Store/Restaurant and Delivery Personnel Responsibilities

1. Store Owners: Must keep store listings accurate (menu, prices, availability) and comply with applicable laws.
2. Delivery Personnel: Must provide timely deliveries, maintaining professional conduct while following relevant traffic and safety regulations.
3. Background Location (Delivery Man App): By using the Delivery Man App, you consent to the collection and use of your location data (including background location) to facilitate deliveries.

6. Intellectual Property

1. Ownership: Campus Bite and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the services, including trademarks, service marks, logos, graphics, text, and software.
2. Limited License: You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our services for personal or internal business use.
3. Restrictions: You may not modify, distribute, reproduce, or create derivative works of any part of our services without express written permission.

7. Termination and Account Deletion

1. Termination by Us: We may suspend or terminate your access to our services for any violation of these Terms or if required by law.
2. Account Deletion by You: You can delete your account from within any of the three apps (User, Store, Delivery Man). If you also want all associated personal data removed, submit a request at https://campusbite.com.pk/account-deletion-request/.
3. Data Retention: Personal data is typically deleted within 90 days of a valid deletion request, unless required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

8. Liability Limitations

1. Disclaimer of Warranties: Campus Bite provides services “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
2. Third Parties: Campus Bite is not liable for the quality or safety of food or goods provided by third parties, nor for conduct of users or delivery personnel.
3. Limitation of Liability: To the extent permitted by law, Campus Bite is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of our services.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Campus Bite, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications to Services and Terms

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue our services at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our Website and apps, indicating the “Effective Date.” Continued use after any changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. Failing that, disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Pakistan.
